Applications for IMAP and IDOC are received for Fall and Spring entry. IMAP applicants should note that the curriculum is structured on a Fall-Spring calendar and are therefore strongly encouraged to apply for Fall entry. Spring entry is typically restricted to students graduating from universities that use the Japanese calendar (Spring entry) or have other extenuating circumstances. Applicants who apply for Spring entry must present a valid reason for doing so (if you are unsure, please contact us through the form below).

The application window for Fall 2024 will be March 1-15, 2024.

Application period for Spring 2025 enrollment: September 2-13, 2024.

Given ongoing disruptions by the Covid pandemic, some international mail has been experiencing significant delays. For this reason, please 1) retain a digital copy of your entire application as a back-up, and 2) send an email confirming your application to kokusai@lit.kyushu-u.ac.jp.
